Les Menuires is situated in the famous and world's largest skiing area of the "Trois Vallées" at an altitude of 1850m, which ensures good snow conditions throughout a long season. Because of the altitude, most of the pistes start or finish close to the town creating a friendly and lively atmosphere in the piste-side bars and restaurants of the Croisette (town centre). The ambiance in Les Menuires is vibrant, it is very popular with the French and is excellent value considering its prime location. In the summer, one can wander through scenic trekking paths and authentic hamlets, or take one's mountain bike in the lifts and have great rides down-hill!
