Les Carroz is a charming authentic alpine village, which, due to a resident population, remains open all year round. As one of the 5 resorts that make up the Grand Massif (Flaine, Samoëns, Morillon and Sixt being the other 4) there is an abundance of high quality skiing right on your doorstep, with 265 km of pistes on offer. Access to the slopes has been significantly improved with the introduction of a new high-speed gondola, which opened in 2005. Apart from being one of the most snow-sure regions in the Alps, Les Carroz also benefits from its prime location, just 45 minutes from Geneva Airport and 30 minutes from Chamonix. The beautiful town of Annecy with its wonderful lake is only 40 minutes away, which is a great place to visit.
